Hello! I'm Jacob and I created this site! I'm a backend developer living in Canada, so apologies if the site isn't quite up to standard since frontend isn't exactly my specialty. I do hope you find the actual recommender useful though!

I've been a massive weeb since around 2017 when I entered highschool and after watching so many shows I started to get a little annoyed trying to find new anime to watch that I knew would fit my tastes and finally decided to do something about it.

This site was inspired by RandomAnime.org, which my friends and I have been using for quite a while, please check it out if you want to find an anime to watch and leave it up to fate!

The site

I decided to try my hand at making a site to get recommendations in a way that I actually wanted instead of just relying on MyAnimeList recommendations that are quite questionable at times...

I decided to make it a full project because I was having a good time trying to improve the recommendations and thought it could be nice to get more public feedback for the recommender.

The recommendations are by no means perfect and have a long way to go so please bear with me. I plan to keep improving the project whenever I have time!
