About this recommender

I made this because “anime similar to…” searches often end up meaning “anime in the same genre.” That can be useful, but it misses a lot of what actually makes two shows feel alike.

This project compares anime across setting and regular content, characters, atmosphere, narrative, and themes, then combines those similarities into a recommendation ranking. The advanced settings let you change which parts matter most to you.
